Course Overview: This 14-week, project-based course is designed for intermediate and advanced fashion design enthousiasts who are ready to challenge themselves and elevate their skills in creative pattern-making. By blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital tools, this course pushes boundaries and inspires innovation. Instructors: Barbora Sanakova: With 25+ years of experience, Barbora provides top-notch instruction in traditional and innovative techniques. Milan Tanedjikov: Founder of LIGNES DE FUITE, He will be providing support in design research, sketchbooking, fashion research presentation, and exhibit curation. Course Structure: Part 1: Advanced Patterning and Sewing Techniques Learn advanced patterning and creative sewing methods from renowned experts like Shingo Sato, Tomoko Nakamichi, and Julian Roberts. Explore innovative techniques, using both physical and digital tools to create pattern samples and experiment with manipulation. Part 2: Personal Project Development Apply learned techniques to a personal project, developing a unique toile through remixing and hybridizing approaches. Conduct research and design development, with final toiles and research showcased at the LIGNES DE FUITE design research exhibit. Limited Enrollment: To ensure personalized attention and high-quality learning, the course is limited to 4 students. Certification: Participants receive a certificate of completion and gain the opportunity to enroll in the second part of the course to continue their developing their skills. Exhibition Opportunity: Projects will be featured in the LIGNES DE FUITE Design Research exhibit in December, offering recognition and networking opportunities. Cancellation Policy

Course Fees & Payment Course Cost: $1,450 + taxes. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required upon enrollment. The remaining balance of $1,200 + taxes will be divided into 8 equal payments of $150 + taxes. Full payment must be completed before the final showcase. Payments are made through the Flexible Payment Plan: Flexible Payment Plan Link. Payments must be completed in full, regardless of attendance. Cancellation Policy 14+ Days Before Start Date: Eligible for a partial refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. Less Than 14 Days Before Start Date: No refund or transfer. Cancellations after Enrollment: All payments must be completed as per the payment plan. No refunds if you decide not to attend. Course Cancellation by Provider If the course is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, students will receive a full refund, including the deposit. The provider reserves the right to modify the course schedule, instructors, or content, with prior notice. Attendance & Certification Students must attend at least 80% of classes to receive a certificate. No certificate if more than 20% of classes are missed. Intellectual Property All course materials are protected by copyright for personal use only. Students retain ownership of their designs but grant LIGNES DE FUITE the right to use and promote their work for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, including for use in social media, websites, and advertising. Photo & Video Release Students consent to their image being recorded during the course and agree to the use of these recordings for promotional and educational purposes. Liability The provider is not responsible for any personal injury or loss. Students are responsible for their own safety and should have appropriate insurance. Privacy Personal data is collected for course registration, communication, and certification and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law. Agreement By enrolling in the course, students agree to these terms and conditions. Changes will be notified to students.
