Join us for the Montreal premiere of the captivating documentary CARTON D‘INVITATION (view preview here) by acclaimed journalist Nan Devitt Tremblay. This significant piece of fashion history explores the evolution of the fashion industry from exclusivity to mass entertainment.


In 1986, while living in Paris, Tremblay joined Fashion Television, which became a groundbreaking series providing viewers worldwide with a glimpse into the fashion world before the advent of social media. The series documented fashion’s transformation, offering a front-row seat to runway shows, backstage events, exclusive parties, and designer studios.


As its “invisible” Paris reporter, Tremblay interviewed renowned designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, and Jean Paul Gaultier, along with editors, models, and celebrities.
